What we collect — and what we do not
We do not store the text from your screen. The database has no screenshots and no translated sentences.
On the phone: Google Translate goes from the device to Google. That text never hits our server.
On the server (Kimi): text lives in RAM during the Moonshot request and is discarded. MySQL only keeps metadata:
- device id and login token
- Telegram ID, name and username — if you tapped Sign in
- translation count, languages, character length, success, date
- Star payments and subscription end date
- share links and click counts
Cards, IBAN, personal codes, phones and email are masked in the app before translation.
Why we need this
To count two free translations, grant a subscription, keep the Kimi key off the APK, and see who paid. Not for ad profiles, not for selling data.
Who processes the translation
Google (on-device) and/or Moonshot / Kimi (server). Their rules are on their sites. The Kimi key stays on the author’s hosting.
How to delete data
Message the author via the app’s Telegram bot. We delete the account, translation metadata and Telegram link. Telegram keeps its own payment history.
